Pictures from the New House

Of course, since it is me, I have to have a post dedicated to pictures I have taken from this new house. I love taking pictures of things outdoors, and here in the "country" in the springtime it is PERFECT photography material! The above picture is from our house, I think I took this from the backyard. I LOVE taking pictures of sunsets, and even though this was not the best (they have gorgeous sunsets here, maybe it is just that we can see it better now.) I love the contrasts.
My favorite tree. It just now started blooming. I am not sure what kind it is, but I just LOVE it.
Beautiful blossoms...
Pink buds! I'd never seen a pink bud before.
More beautiful blossoms...
Aaah, aren't they just gorgeous? I am surprised-and very glad-at how well the picture turned out. You see my fingers in the picture because it was a very windy day and I had to hold the branch to try to make it still for the picture.
My favorite pictures of this bunch are the one right above, and the 2nt picture of "My Tree".

Oh, P.S., We Moved!

Haha, by the way, we moved! 2 months ago! Now, let me clear my case: 1). I did not forget to post. I have been SO busy for the past while, with school, babysitting, piano, rehearsals, and performances. Another reason I haven't posted anything is that there is so much to post, the task is intimidating. So I put it off. 2). The allotted time between us thinking about(or us kids knowing that our parents were thinking about) moving, putting our house up for sale, and moving was about 3 months. Seriously.
Our house sold SO quickly-the sign went up Thursday night, the house went on MLS Friday morning, the future buyers walked through the house Friday and Saturday, and we had a signed contract Wednesday(January 27). We had a signed contract on the house that we own now on Saturday.
We moved in on March 24. Everything went so fast that I was slightly in shock through the entire thing, so had no time to comprehend the "seriousness of the situation". But my last night in our old house-man, I hate calling it that-was pretty traumatic. I think Holly was about to scream if I said "I can't believe this is our last night in this house. I will never see these walls again, I will never look out the window at our friends playing soccer in the coldesac again, I will never walk up this long driveway again, I will never get my clothes out of this closet again, I will never make food on this stove again, etc., etc., etc."
I'll have a separate post about our new house, and the changes it brings. Hmm, that one will take a while... :)
Here are some pictures of the 22nt:

The boys' room
The hall
Kayli's room (ok, the room Kayli used to be in. Kind of my room. Just where I kept some of my stuff. And it had a bed in there so I could sleep there if I got home late from babysitting, or if I just needed alone time I could go there. That was really nice.)
Um, my mattress. Needed some place to put it while taking down the bed, and the bathroom was elected!
Holly and my mess, er, room.
Taking down the bunk beds.
No monsters under the bed...but pretty much everything else!

Well, this post has been long enough. Love you guys!

Happy Birthday to Me

Today, I am 14. Wow. CrAzY thought. I don't want to be 14! It seems like there should be a number between 13 and 14. I guess I can't stop it though, so might as well enjoy it! I am getting more used to the idea.

My Healthy Meal!

I am so proud of myself! I am trying to eat healthier, and today, this is what I had for lunch:

That is corn, green beans, spaghetti squash, cucumber, and baked potatoe(well, ok, I only took 1 bite of the potatoe becuase it tasted nasty) + an 8 oz. glass of water! I am also trying to drink more water. As it is, I drink about 2 cups a day. Maybe less on busy days. That doesn't exactly qualify as enough! I am trying to get in the habit of drinking a lot, because when Trek comes in June, I am going to need to drink a LOT more than what I am currently. Doesn't that picture above look so good? So healthy? So yummy? Yes, I do love veggies! Yum! Especially corn...:)

Our Bunny

This is Thumper, our bunny. He is so sweet and cuddly! His fur is so soft and smooth, and he loves attention! He is a major show-off. Thumper is about 4 years old, and we have had him 4 years! I LOVE our bunny.

In these pictures,he had ripped hay off of the roof of an edible "house for small pets", and just stuck it in a pile in his cage!

That one is a LOT more updated, so if you want to know what is going on with us, just check that! And I do write all of the posts on our family blog, too, so I will sometimes add something personal.
I'll put up a "What's Going on in My Life" post later!
